Yeah... and.. I had my 4th bday celebration with 3 other Nuts last thursday night.. Mel, ting ting and Jason at Sunway Pyramid. It was a good one, got to catch up with one another. Plus those wild sex stuff by Mel... Mongolian stuff by Jason... Starbucks stuff by Ting ting.. ahahaha.. =p

After the dinner, I went back to UT la.. Me and Adelene stayed overnight at Adele's place. Haih.. that night ar.. Maybe I should wait till I got the pics from Adelene then only I tell you all what happened la.. Wahliao, you people memang pandai tipu saya... Adelene, Adele, Joyce.. and SuitLin!!!!!

Thursday afternoon, 4++pm..
Me : (just woke up from nap, blur, saw sth on the table..)What are these old newspaper for?
SuitLin : Oh... Itz for the actors practice later.
Me : OOOhhh... okies. ( I really thought that itz for actors practice... issssh)

Mana tahu... itz actually wrapperz for the gift.. Hebat ya....

Hahaha.. I really like the cekap gift from all of you.. Hmm.. I am still waiting for the card though.. =) Hmm, so that's my 5th bday celebration. Muahahahahaha....

Oh ya... Remember MooLoo Ong? Last Thursday only I knew that MooLoo Ong is not a african+chinese. Itz a female cow!! The kind of cow you see in Fernleaf advertisement. Hahaha.. I guess only you understand what am I saying here. Thanx for the card n the Mr. Bean bear..

Hmmm.. can't sum up my bday celebration since still got one more part to go. Hehehe....

To sidetrack a bit..

ERm... I went for my CF com planning retreat on Sat n Sun. It was a good one. And I really learned a lot thru working n serving together with the rest of the com members. =]

Alright... itz time for my afternoon nap. Tonight have to study gau-gau for the stupid General Microbe test and the Environmental Pollution test which are on this Wednesday... So der la...

So.. What happened on the 20th, with the gang of siao people?

Well well, I was just in time to publish my previous post when they missed call me, telling me that they are somewhere near Medan Gopeng. That was around 2pm. So I cepat-cepat went to change and drove my car to meet them at Esso la coz I need to pump petrol.

And after that .. Kok how volunteered himself to sit in my car.

Kokhow : wahliao.. why your car so hot one????
Me : Er, what to do.. I scared it will get overheated la if I on the air-con. Ok la, nvm lor.. on the air-con lor.

But then.. itz hot air coming out.. darn car la. So we decided not to on the air-con. We have air-con semula jadi. Ok wat.. got free sauna. Somemore can burn fat. Untung la, right? I always have a packet of tissue on the dashboard. Sambil busy driving, sambil busy wiping away the sweat.. Gosh.. But I am used to it liao la..

Visitation...
We went to ...

1. Wanling's place. I nearly sesat jalan although I have a good sense of direction. *Ahem..* We played Mafia but itz a Choy Shen version ~ winking at people to 'give angpow'. I was blur enough coz I didn't know Victor was winking at me. I thought what was he doing... Issh... Laughed like crazy.
2. Ai Ling's place. Somewhere near my friend's @ teacher's @ sister's place. Makan makan a bit la.
3. After that, we went to fetch Joyce from Moven Peak and went straight to her house at Pengkalan.
4. Then.. went to Taman Cempaka, ie my house... where you can really see the hills. We took some pics la. I will get from them and upload here la. Muahahaha.... Then we makan yee sang together with my family. =P

By then, itz already 7pm liao. After that, we went to WahNam Kopitiam for dinner. Peter and Adele joined us la. But then that Adele left earlier.. I guess must be the RUm Jungle. Nvm. = ]

After makan, we visited Sze Meun la. 3 cars -- I drove, Peter drove. And Jeffrey drove.

OK la.. the KL fellas very bagi muka.. took turns to enjoy free sauna in my car. First was Kokhow mah, then Victor, then Ivan and Meisi, and then Tuxoon. Hehehe.. funny la you people. The most 'rugi' (untung in one sense) is Tux coz he sat in my car at night when we went to sze meun's place.. can enjoy the breeze as I 'speed' on the road.. *yeah right...*

Well.. what happened at Sze Meun's house? Like normal visitation.. we went there to eat, drink, talk crap, laugh,.. etc etc. And towards the end, they celebrated my birthday.. Hehehe.. And Jeff still wanted to pretend itz his birthday that we are celebrating. What la, I know la. So I have to act like I-am-so-surprised.. Haha.. And itz cheesecake again! Wahliao, cekap la! Angpows doubled.. cheesecake doubled.. Birthday celebration so far 3 times liao. Wah seh...

Then, reached home at 12 that night. Officially one year older. That ReaLnut thought I am only 21. Fuiyo. I was la. But now no longer lor. Issh.. =P Itz ya Birthday today, Nut! Blessed Bday!

Alright.. coming back to uni.. No traffic jammed, thank God. Last night we had the first part of CPR on evaluation. Itz ok la, I think. Somemore everyone was sooo semangat. All of us, except xiaoying and adrian, went for mamak-ing. Haha.. good la. I enjoyed myself berfellowshipping with them. For CPR this weekend, I have to do some preparation stuff la.. Hmm.

So.. today's class was ok la. Blur as usual during lecture although I have read the stuff.. but that was 2 weeks ago. Errmm..

Last night I went for my F6 B1 gathering at my friend, Susan's house. Hmm.. itz just a normal CNY gathering la. At first I thought of skipping it. Dunno why la. But then hor.. cannot la, coz I have been 'hiding' for one year plus d. Last night was my first time seeing most of them such a long time. Yeah, they celebrated my bday la when the clocked struck 12. Hehe, thanx to my ex-asst-classrep. He reminded Susan la and so happened she got those supermarket-layered-cake in the fridge. So.. hehehe.. they sang bday, I blew the big fat candle, her mum cut the cake, I served the cake..... yada yada.. reached home at 2am .. whaliao....

Oh.. yesterday I got my first bday gift from my church friend @ sister @ BM teacher. Itz a Dunlop sling bag. From the size of the gift, I know itz a bag la. But I didn't know is that kind of sling bag la. I wanted to buy sth like that last year December. But .. u know la.. can't afford to spend on that la. So when I unwrapped the gift... "Wahliao!! Itz what I wanted!!!" At first she was thinking whether I like it or not. Wow.... I like it super much man!! Hehehe.. Thanx, sis. Lee Chan!

Hehe.. my dad bought yee sang to celebrate my bday. Yay, later at night can makan yee sang!

CNY part 2

Today is the first day of CNY. I was born on the first day of CNY 22 years ago. So.. my family celebrated my 'lunar calendar' punya birthday la, together with other relatives. My mum bought me a Secret Recipe Espresso Cheesecake. Yay! This is my 2nd year celebrating birthday with cheesecake. Fuiyo..!

Ok la.. since itz my birthday .. angpows oso 'bigger' la.. some of them gave double somemore. Hahaha.. The thought about all those 'extra' angpows makes me laugh til I can't close my mouth.. Muahahahaha... Took some pics using my cousin's hp. Issh, no one in the family uses digicam. Aiseh.. If not, I can take more pics of me.. me.. and me..! ;p

CNY.. besides watching tv(I didn't really watch la), itz mahjong time! My family only plays mahjong once a year, ie CNY la. Neh, saje main-main la, we(at least my table la) don't play with money one ~ whether itz the real money or the fake money la. So today huh, besides celebrating my bday(well well, how many times do I want to repeat this? =P ), we played mahjong for the whole afternoon.. isssh.. cekap giler!

These few days.. really jalan-jalan in Tesco, Ipoh Parade and Jaya Jusco till here pain, there pain..

Monday night ~ went to Jusco with my family
Wednesday night ~ went to Ipoh Parade with my mum.
Thursday morning ~ went to Ipoh Parade (again!!) with my friend.
Thursday night ~ went to Tesco with my family.
Friday afternoon ~ went to Ipoh Parade(Again!!!!!) with my mum and sisters.
Friday night ~ went to Jusco with my family.


Daytime huh, I 'worked' as a driver to send my brother to school and tuition.
This is my brother. Hehehe.. this picture was taken... erm.. 2 years ago, I think. Not very clear coz itz taken using my sister's handphone.



What else do I do at home? Hmm, wake up at 10sth everyday. Everyday sleep in the afternoon for at least an hour.. Ya, I helped my mum with the peanuts la. Spring cleaning? Neh, my sister is the person-in-charge. So she did most of the job. Hehehe.. so I just ordered around la.. Haha.. that's why I am the 'Dai har sai' @ Big Bully at home.

Okies, back to CNY shopping. My family huh, we only buy new clothes during such wonderful festive season.. so.. There are 6 of us in the family, imagine how much time we spend waiting for our turn to use the fitting room. Some Chinese like my family is one kind of siao people ~ we like to do last minute shopping and berhempit-hempit with people to choose tops, pants.. mandarin orange.. shoes.. and whatever CNY stuff la. Haih..

Well, bought some new clothes, all paid by my mum except the short pants. Hehehe..

Well well.. today I have already started 'feasting'.. the afternoon meal(b4 we close for CNY celebration) in my grandpa's restaurant -- ALL meat ~ duck, chicken, fish, pork..! The only thing with vegetables in it is the soup.. Wahliao...

Tmrow is CNY eve.. there'll be rounds n rounds of makan-ing until I balik PJ on the 21st, which is the 4th day of CNY. Aww.. nvm la. Got Committee Planning Retreat at night le. Hmm, better eat more pork before I leave Ipoh. Hahaha..

Too well

I dunno why I put this picture here. It may not match the things which I am going to blog about. But anyway, I have no particular topic la. I just want to leave an entry in jiaplace on such a lovey dovey day called Valentine's Day. Although itz a bit late liao.. but nvm la, as long as I have that heart to post sth. Hahaha..

This mid sem break is really a holiday for me. I didn't bring back any stuff to study. Microb test? Dun care la. Genetics? Nvm, study next time when the tests are near. Hehe..

Just now I went shopping with my mum. Mother and daughter went shopping in such a day. Eh, itz nothing wrong la, but just a bit weird. Like what my sister said...

My sister : You mei you gau chuo? Qing ren jie dao chu dou shi yi pair pair. Ni men liang ge sa po pao qu 'hang gai'? (in mandarin n cantonese, rojak la. It means huh.. You all sth wrong ar? Valentine's day couples everywhere. You two gila boong[me n my mum] go shopping in such a day? )

Earlier during lunch time....

My mum : Jin tian shi Qing REn jie wor. Bu zhi dao ni Ah Ba hui you shen me biao shi? Ni men jue de leh? (In mandarin.. Today is Valentine's day wor. DUnno what your dad will do leh? WHat do you all [me and my sisters] think huh?)

Me and my sisters : Haih.. mm sai lum la. Mou biao shi ge la. Sai hei la. (in cantonese.. No need to think la.. He wont do anything one la. DUn waste effort thinking la.)

My mum : Hai lor, gu mm dou dai ga dou hei gam lum. (in cantonese.. Ya lor, can't belive that all of us come to the same conclusion.)

Well well, the mood of the conversation was ok, no complaints, no laments. Simply because my mum knows my dad too well; we kids know our dad too well; ANd my dad knows my mum too well..

But.. sometimes just because we know a person too well.. we kinda take that person for granted. We replace acts of love, words of love with sth else, ie 'silence' - we hide those acts, those words. We don't really express them coz' we thought that that person will understand how much we love him/her. Mana tahu.. that person is waiting for you to tell that to him/her.

Haih..

As I grow older, I realise that there's a lot of things to learn .. BGRelationship is not just going out and study 'paktohlogy' together.. there's a lot more than that. There's a commitment ~ life thru thick and thin. There's a same journey. There's a same source, where God is the centre of all things. *Wah, why suddenly talk about this stuff? Neh, it just crossed my mind.*

Itz also learning not to be selfish, not to take things for granted. Taking people for granted is a huge mistake in whatever kinds of relationship. A mistake which you would never want to repeat..

Hmm.. just some reflections la.. as I look at my parents, my cousins.. my friends.. ya..

I have been thinking about some stuff .. since the day(last friday evening la) I set my foot on this place called Ipoh. A place I called HOME. Well, I have kinda used to those feelings.

Currently reading Eugene Peterson's The Journey. And I came across this part which goes like this...

What a week!

Yo.. I must blog gau-gau before I go back to Ipoh! Isssh, no internet connection back home la, sigh. =(

Okies, there goes the first half of my 2nd sem as a 2nd year student.

Last night was fun, really fun! Someone came to visit us in MC, spending a night in our cekap room. Ya, *jeng jeng jeng jeng* she is Queen Adelene ! =p

This picture was taken after the choir competition during Festival Seni. Lawa betul! (I'm talking about the one wearing Legacy Live t-shirt, bleh..) OK la, that night she is pretty la although she's kinda stressed during the competition. Haha, those who were there would know how stressed she was.

Well, anyway, I really mean it when I say 'Queen Adelene'.. "Hail Queen Adelene....!" Haha.. neh, this time she didn't drink nescafe using my stainless steel bowl like last year(wow, time really flies, last year she was in my B116 back in 4th college). We had nescafe, we had Anlene milk.. Oh ya, we had McD large set of Quarter Pounder(feel like eating it now) for dinner to kind of celebrate la for CNY, for holiday, for being able to answer the questions in Basic Genetics and Molecular Genetics tests yesterday... Yes! Thank God!

Ya, by the way, our last lab for Basic Genetics was funny la. The most cekap thing which I learned throughout the 7 weeks of lab work is --- to differentiate between the male and female fruitflies *sweat* Oh, we oso learned la how to count the kernels... darn corns... We had to count how many kernels are of this colour, how may are of that colour.. stupid darn white and yellow coloured kernels are almost the SAME! And one of my friend, after finished counting, the number of kernels she counted was double of what other people counted for that particular corn.. Well, later only she found out that she actually went round the corn twice. *super sweat*

And during the last lab, I accidentally tertumpah the bottle of spirit containing all the dead flies.. Well, thank God for lab coat! So, most of the flies were on the floor. To get rid of the evidence - I just squashed them all under my feet.. Wiped away the spirit on the bench.. put back the lid to the bottle, pretend that nothing happened. And that Queen was there laughing.. Hahaha.. I know I am terrible la.. but it is just a small matter la. At least the bottle didn't fall on the floor. Well, I m still waiting for Queen Adelene for the pictures of those fruitflies..

Alright, back to last night in my room.. We took some canggih-manggih pictures using her digicam la. We didn't really get to cam-whore coz' the battery is running low and it is always running low, nvm. Somemore she was busy la ~ Haih, what to do -- she had to finish her stupid Komputer untuk Pendidikan punya assignment.

The most cekap fake name - Ms. MOOLOO ONG. Hahaha.. I am still laughing as I am typing this.. ~Gosh, simply la you! I told you that I am gonna blog about this.~ There are more funny funny names to come.. wait..

3. Tan Lee Koop. Chinese. Er, this one is still ok la.
4. Mangai Bala. Indian. This one is still ok.
5. Mooloo Ong. She could be a mix la. Mooloo may be some south african name. Either her dad or mum is a Chinese with surname Ong.

From all the names huh, I think Queen Adelene's favourite alphabet is 'O' coz 75% of the names she used has 'O', somemore is Double O...

Haha..

I am amazed with those names, super creative names huh.. =p

In the midst of busyness(not really though), did I ever stop and listen to what my heart is telling me? Or am I so caught up with different situations that I failed to see that God is in control? Or am I doing things according to my understanding, my knowledge, my strength? These are the questions that are playing on my mind now.

Lord, Your word says 'Ears to hear and eyes to see -- both are gifts from the LORD'. But I guess I have forgotten what is the art of listening... what does it mean to really listen.. I guess I have failed to see from my heart.. to really see and understand what is happening...

What was on my mind?

A lot of things were on my mind.. causing me to have pretty bad short term memory lately. Alamak.. What to do?

Last night we had our first dance practice for the Easter Celebration. Well, I am dancing again.. but this time itz not hip hop dance. Hmm, I guess it'z a challenge to me. And there's a lot of new things for me to learn. =)

I watched a movie after that, together with the friends from CM. It was a good one..

"Why does life have to be full of tears? How to put up a smiley face in the midst of pain, sorrow...?"

This is part of the conversation on the phone between a counsellor and a social worker. The social worker was contemplating suicide, at the edge of jumping down from a building. As a social worker, she has been helping people, handling different cases. She does all her tasks by her own strength, taking up more and more responsibility ...and finally.. falls into depression.

The counsellor -- what I learned from this character ~ Listen to God, listen to yourself(how you are responding to situations), and listen to the people around you. When we attune our ears to listen to God, He will show us how to help the people around us. For He will speak to us and speak thru' us.

Prior to this, I have been thinking and asking God what is the MOST practical way to help to improve the situations which I saw happening...
