more randomz stuff

This morning.....
I am reminded of this....

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30

continue from the previous post...

Posers giler~

I like these pictures lar~

Well, I guess all this happened due to the influence of The American Next Top Model. And hence we have...

Hmm, basically this was what we did for the weekend. I really enjoyed the weekend bumming around with my darlingz ~ Panjang and Penjang@Pandek in this town called Banting.

Pendek, Penjang@Pandek, Panjang
Love you two lotz, man!

a weekend in Banting =)

I had a great weekend in Banting. Indeed it was a time out for me although we were busy doing a lot of things. Well, we didn't take many pictures. Aiks, some funny mistakes la, but never mind. We were in Banting on Friday evening and came back to PJ this morning. We went for Orang Asli Sunday school in Pulau Banting. Morib Beach. Kelanang Beach. Sunday service. Makan bak kut teh with Marky. Hmm, I really enjoyed the food. AJ's mum is a good cook! We had curry crab, curry chicken, macaroni and etc. Well, it was fun and exciting to lepak at Kelanang beach because we didn't really know the way to the beach. But the scenery is so beautiful.. mangrove swamp, the sun, the sea.. the 3 girls.. blah blah blah..

Well, of course I need to upload some pictures here. I know we are super vain and super posers. And that's how we wasted Marky's battery and later only we found out that we can't use AA battery for his digicam. Argh!

Alright, it's already 4.15pm!! I got to run to the Gender class now. I am late again! Argh..

To be continued..
...Great pictures coming up

Yo, finally I am only left with one assignment. But this assignment is enough to kill me to the max. Individual assignment, 40%, have to do in BM somemore! I only have another 10 days to complete the assignment and I have barely started. Well, I have to minus the weekend so actually I am left with only one week or so. Die? I don't care la! Let me have my cekap weekend first!

This week has been pretty hectic huh. Many things are going on. Meetings. Bible Quiz. Makan time. Lepak time(but meaningful, k?). Classes. Assignments. Oh yeah, after so many months of 'hard work' finally I had my 8 hours of beauty sleep. Haha!

Man looks at the outward but God looks at the heart. Well, I believe that God will raise up leaders after His own heart ~ Leaders who will guide the people with knowledge and understanding.

Those who plant in tears
will harvest with shouts of joy.

They weep as they go to plant their seed,
but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Psalm 126:5-6 (NLT)

Many things on my mind. Hmm, but I thank God for those 'many things'. Never mind if you don't understand what I am saying. Haha. =)

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
Emily Dickinson

I shall not live in vain.
Help me to see things the way YOU see it,
and that I will not lean on my own understanding.

Really.

amazed

"... let all My words sink deep into your own heart first. Listen to them carefully for yourself.."
Eze 3:10(NLT)

A lot of things on mind, as usual la. The stuff about my room and the problem of not having enough sleep -- never mind, I will just have to adapt to it. But as I reflect on different things, I really thank God that He's there with me and for me. These few days -- well, I have been kinda busy but it was meaningful in a way. Spending time alone in my lala world with God. Meaningful conversations with different people. The satisfaction of finishing a few parts of the many assignments(but there's still a lot more to go!). Learning to see things in a different way. Sharing some thoughts with different people.

Although sometimes my heart will suddenly sink.. but then.. it kinda reminds me of how much I needed God, that I really got to trust in Him and not to lean on my own understanding.

Indeed, how marvelous, how wonderful is my Saviour's love for me!

something of this and that

God is faithful and He preserves His people

We met the HEP officer today. My heart kind of like 'stopped' when he said that he is not against activities which are to strengthen our beliefs and that he allows us to have weekly meetings until further notice. I couldn't believe my ears when he said that. And in my heart, I was like "It's You, Lord!! It's Your work in our midst and even in Mr. A! Thank you, Lord. Thank you!!". Indeed, God works in mysterious ways which we can never fathom. =)

Curently listening to a compilation CD of songs by HK singer, Sammi Cheng(she is my fav since my primary school days wei). Aha, those were the days when kids will go crazy over celebrities, spend money on cassettes and CDs, collect pictures and newspaper cuttings on anything about that person, decorate bedroom and files with that person's posters... yada yada... I don't know about you but that's what I did la. Oh, but I didn't spend much on CDs coz those were presents from my friends. Hehe.
**
Oh well, after such a long time... finally I got the chance to walk and run in the rain. Weee... no choice la. I know it's gila but.. It's super fun lar~~ All sort of funny stuff happened over the past few weeks(or 'months', I can't remember la) and I have concluded that such bizarre things only happen during my uni days.

Aww... last week at this time we were at Colmar Tropicale... I miss Bukit Tinggi ler. I wanna go there again!!!

the best weekend!

I just came back from Bukit Tinggi this afternoon. I really enjoyed my 2 days 1 night in Bukit Tinggi. I(we) don't have any pictures of this trip to put in the blog coz none of us brought digicam *awww* And the complaints we made are still ringing on my mind...

"Haiyo, we should have brought camera la, so nice la here..."
"I can take the picture of flowers..."
"If I have a camera now...."
"How nice if someone can take picture of us sitting here..."

"My dear, stop complaining...."

I named the trip as Merdeka Bukit Tinggi Trip, saje la since we went there on the 31st Aug. Well, a super brief summary of the things we did in Bukit Tinggi... erm, quite in chronological order.

Cool journey. Super tasty McD Doublecheese Burger. The folds of hills. The hills are alive. Botanical Garden and Japanese Garden. A lot of walking(I mean A LOT!). Beautiful bryophytes and pteridopytes and gymnosperms and angiosperms. More complaints about not having a digicam. Imaginations about genetically modified plants suddenly transformed into giant man-eating plants. We saw a few Siamang@Gibbon. Koi that are not afraid of strangers. Cute rabbits(and donkeys and deers). Chased after rabbits and carried them. Talked to donkeys. French Village@Colmar Tropicale. More walking. A place for honeymoon(erm, not really though). Nice coffee and pizza Tarte Flambee. Wanted to be Jack and grow the bean. Blew bubbles. Graceful black and white swans. Picked up pine cones. Dinner. Watched people swimming and blew bubbles at the balcony. Watched Chicken Little. Blew bubbles, again. Watched the Andrew Llyod Webber thingy till 2am. Super comfortable bed. Went to the river this morning and had a good time there. Beautiful dragonflies and butterflies. Again, how nice if we can take pictures of us, and the insects, of coz. No ping pong. Blew bubbles at the balcony again. Jumped into the swimming pool without proper attire. Simply swam. Jumped into the water a few times. Being pushed into the water from the back. Bak Kut Teh for lunch(had super banyak pork this week! Good!!). Back in PJ at 3. Talked. Said bye bye..

Well, I had great fun with these 2 crazy fella. =)

But I still miss home ler. *_*

The Chronicles of Killing Cockroaches!

I am typing this post in a semi-standing position and my things are all over the place. A night visitor just came. I guess this is a revenge for the annihilation of cockroaches that happened 2 nights ago.

The night visitor dressed in shiny black amour
Lies lifeless in a pool of hot water
I think I have evolved into a super killer
Corrosive are where my footprints linger
My killer stare is greater than a tranquilizer
Cockroach shivers and faints under its glimmer
Now the visitor will return to its Maker
And our lives are almost back to normal
by *WLL(where is the 'A'?)

*Wjh, Lee Roomie, Leong YL. (A=Adelene). Erm, the 4 of us = The WALL!

Talking about the annihilation on Monday midnight, 12.30pm....

Roomie came into the room.. saying, "Outside got 2 cockroaches wei."

I was already in my bed, half asleep...The word 'cockroach' made me jump up from the bed and said, "Oi, let's go and kill them!!"

So, roomie and I killed took mugs and filled them with hot boiling water from the water dispenser. Haha, hot shower for the cockroaches! We killed 10 cockroaches -- 6 adults(1 went into people' room, and thank God not my room!!) and 4 nymphs. Muahahaha....

One of the nymphs jumped on my right foot.. eeeww!! And I squashed it 'gau-gau' after that. By the time we killed all the cockroaches that we saw, the water dispenser had already ran out of hot boiling water. =P

OK, enough of cockroachy story for the night. For more cockroachy story, click

LR 07'

Adele, Adelene, Jiahui
@
Cheffy's Angels

*For the following story.... I am just typing what Adele is telling me....
I am innocent, really!! weeee
*

Gorgeous Angels taking a break after a long day at work in Port Dickson on 14th July while Cheffy is in Japan with some Japanese girls.

We discovered that Adelene can pronounce some cantonese phrase quite accurately. ~~Wu guai wu guai tiew~~. You can ask her to say it to you the next time you see her. But do be prepared for her well-known expression.

"Erm..."
"You arrrrr..."
"Don'tttt wanttt...."
Adelene is so going to kill me(Adele).

We also discovered that we make great models. Just check out the photo. Gorgeous sunset with gorgeous us. Even without make up and all wet. Haha...

Anyway, Jiahui was running around like some school kid. So, I had to keep an eye on her while supervising Adelene's cantonese and trying to enjoy the view. *wink wink*. Alright, I got to walk back to UT now. I am going to miss Jiahui la. And of course, the Banting Ah Moi.

Adele.

something good.

It was a good meeting.

Hmm, I wanna tell you guys(you know who you are la)... Thank you so much for allowing me to express myself and show you my true colours *ahem*. Erm, I am amazed la to see how God worked in us, how we have walked together and helped each other along the way to reach where we are today... Well, the feeling is kinda beyond description. *weee...*

2 in the morning

I better go and sleep now... if not, my Saturday will just fly by and habis la my weekend... *weee.....*

Encounter rally in church on Friday evening - with Rev. Bernard Blessings... We didn't have the thing which Kokhow told me last time about 'I blass(it sounds like 'blast' but it's actually 'bless') you, I blass you, I blass you...' *weee.....* Hmm, the service was good. I am kinda amazed to see how he interconnects 2 Samuel 9 with Jesus and with our lives. The message was translated into Tamil by a pastor from GT Tamil Division. It was interesting to see 2 men on the stage, it's pretty interactive coz the speaker is like telling a story and the Tamil translator will translate and mimic some of the speaker's action. Funny giler. The other part of the rally -- nvm, I shall not talk about this here.

Hmm, Daniel is back from Japan for holiday. Suit and I met him in MC food court during dinner. Haha, he still looks the same, not much changes(physically la) from the time while he was still in UM almost 2 years ago. A surprising thing ... he is doing science education in Japan. *wahseh... why eh?*

Talking about meeting people... I met an African guy who is attending the same church as me. He is Emmanuel, from Kenya and he is now staying in MC, studying nursing in MAHSA. I got a chance to talk to him and know him more last Saturday as we were waiting for people to pick us up for church. Hmm, he is quite an humble guy and it's interesting to listen to him. I am pretty encouraged by his heart for God and his openness to learn from people and his willingness to share his thoughts. =)

As to sum up the week...
God is faithful

Alright.. tidur le... super late liao... nitezz

in my heart

I am thinking....

How I can make full use of my talent(s) *erm... if there's any. Oh God, please help me to discover them* and at the same time allowing and helping others to do the same. =)

Enlighten me, will (Y)ou?

thinking lar~

Ahem...

I am contemplating about this one thing... I have been thinking about it for quite some time...

Should I? Or should I not?

How eh? I don't want it to remain as a 'say say only lar~' thingy
. But then, I don't really have the guts to do it la. *Argh... what is this lar~*

Never mind. Give me some time to think and dream about it... coz I don't wanna be regretful over this decision. =)

T.W.T.D.

This morning, I bummed into some ex-schoolmates' blogs.

Oh well, those were the days... You don't need to think a lot before you decide on anything.

Those were the days... You go to school to talk crap, to walk up and down the school compound in a super slow pace just to kill time.

Those were the days... You just want to be rebellious and do all kinds of funny funny stuff in school, want to act as 'big sister' using 'torchlight' to shine your konco-konco and purposely challenge the prefects, the teachers and some classmates you don't like. *But then, I have no guts to do those not-so-good-things... So, let's forget about it.*

Those were the days... You study 'paktohlogy', besides biology, chemistry, physics, maths, history, chinese(and cantonese in an informal way), BM, English, Moral(duh...), KH, Geography... Successful rate of paktohlogy? Don't bother to ask, yeah?

Those were the days... You are super hopeful for a lot of things. You have a dream(or dreams, whatever). You set your goals, you know what you want in life. You are enthusiastic. You look forward to come out and work. *But now.... whatever lar...*

*
feeling kinda nostalgic now, duh*

Cockcroah-Fighter vs Cockroaches!!

Darn it! Darn it! Stupid cockroaches roamed in my room at 1 something in the morning!! What the heck!! Want to know what happened? Here goes my real life story as 'Jiahui, the cockroach-fighter'! *salute*

This picture is for illustration purposes, it's not drawn according to ratio.

Last night, I went to bed early la, at about 11sth. I thought la I can have a good sleep till the next morning. I was sleeping on my roomie's bed, super nice la coz it's under the fan. Mana tahu, my cell leader sms-ed at 1.20am, telling me about the arrangement to church. OK la, after that I wanted to go to the bathroom. Well, when I was near the bathroom, I saw one black thing on the floor near the cabinets. It registered straight to my blur and half-awake mind that IT IS A DARN-STUPID-FREAKY-HUGE COCKROACH(this is cockroach number 1, by the way)!!! I quickly switched on the light. On my mind: Should I use my slipper and give it one bang and smash it die die? Or should I spray it with Ridsect? Oh well ,after contemplating for less than 5 seconds, I took the Ridsect and sprayed teruk-teruk onto it's upper part(that's what my mum taught me: In order not to waste the Ridsect, you spray on it's upper part so that it will die faster and you don't need to spray somemore).

Then, the stupid cockroach number 1 ran underneath my roomie's bed. I was like, "Shucks man, come out you darn thing!". And I violated my mum's teaching and wasted a bit more Ridsect again. It struggled and I used the broom to dig it out. It was half dead. With the broom in hand, I gave it a hard blow on its head. On my mind, I was thinking "See la, come and mess with me again, stupid thing."

Alright, after sweeping the stupid cockroach number 1 into the drainage hole outside of the room, I went back to my room, feeling SATISFIED coz it's dead and I can now go to bed. I placed the broom back to its original place. Guess what??! There's another black thing moving around in the corner where we put our brooms, shoes.. yada yada..

What the heck!! How come there's another one here?! Again, cockroach-fighter in action! I sprayed on the cockroach number 2. It's so big, man! It went up and down the box of shoes, in and out of my shoes somemore, darn it! I stood there, waited for a few minutes, looking at it roaming in and out my shoes, der! After that I decided to use the broom stick to take out all the shoes from the box. The cockroach was there and it flapped its wings. I was like, "Ya man, don't you ever fly to my face, I tell you!"

Haih, of coz I sprayed on it teruk-teruk again la. The stupid thing struggled in the box and I kicked the stupid box to the rubbish bin outside of my room. Well, to make sure that it dies, I went back to my room, put down the Ridsect, took the mug on the table and went to fetch one whole cup of hot water, and poured the hot water at the dying cockroach. On my mind : Die die die die die.... you darn cockroach! Finally it stopped moving. *Muahahaha....*

Well, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! And it's already 1.40am. I killed 2 cockroaches in one night. And that's enough! I don't hope to see anymore cockroaches!

Oh by the way, in the end, I climbed up my double decker bed and slept on my own bed. Duh..
