Do you want to get well?

This afternoon we had the BMCG meeting..
Ivan shared sth about John 5:5-9.

John 5:5-9 (New International Version)
5One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to get well?"
7"Sir," the invalid replied, "I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me."
8Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk." 9At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.

Something that is kinda related to my post this morning..

A question to ask oursleves..

"Do I want to get well?"

"Do I want to be healed by my Saviour's healing touch?"

There is hope in God.
Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

When you say that a situation or a person is hopeless, you are slamming the door in the face of God. Charles L. Allen
